The Highland Lake Inn provides a great central location from which to hunt and fish. The Inn is happy to work in conjunction with Shawn Upton, a registered NH Fish & Game Guide, to provide a great hunting or fishing experience.
Turkey Hunting Guide Rates:
 $200.00 for a day hunt. Day hunts end at noon per state regulations.
No game fee.
Transportation is provided.
Fly Fishing Guide Rates:
200.00 for a half day 300.00 for a full day. No extra charge for a second person.
Fishing trips include use of Rods, Reels and Flies.
Shawn will meet you at a predetermined area then he will provide transportation to and from the area chosen to fish at.
Recommendations for Fly Fishing:
Bring waders (Shawn has some but not all sizes), bug repellant and something to drink and eat.
Shawn specializes in Fly-fishing for trout in Rivers, Stream and Ponds. When fishing in ponds, Shawn uses float tubes (He can provide 2) He only recommends the use of float tubes to an experienced angler. N.H has over 50 remote walk in trout ponds that are air stocked annually.

 Why hire Shawn as your hunting guide?
I understand how hard hunting in NH can be, but even more importantly, how great of an experience it can be. I've been so fortunate to have hunted during the last 20+ years here in NH. I'll apply my knowledge and skills on your guided hunt. I'll also use ethical means to put you on game, while ensuring the hunt is designed to the style of hunting that you most enjoy; whether it bewalking many miles "still" hunting through the mountains, or finding an area that we feel confident in waiting them out.
